This Week In Space podcast: Episode 60 —Going interstellar to travel beyond the solar system (Image Credit: Space.com)
On Episode 60 of This Week In Space (opens in new tab), Rod Pyle and Tariq Malik recruit Jeff Greason, our favorite interstellar propulsion advocate and resident genius, to talk about how humanity will eventually travel (and live) beyond our solar system.
The technologies to reach another star may be closer than you think, at least, with robotic probes. Tune in to hear why humanity will need to grow not just into an interplanetary species, but into an interstellar one as well!
Also, this week: Scientists catch a star in the act of swallowing its own planet, NASA and scientists square off over New Horizons probe, and environmentalists sue the FAA over SpaceX’s Starship program.
