On Monday, January 27 at 5:05 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Despite pushing the launch time back, SpaceX was able to launch more than 20 Starlink satellites under good weather on Monday evening. The 45th Weather Squadron gave a 95% chance of good liftoff conditions, with the only concerns being the cumulus cloud rule. . 

This was the 20th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously CRS-26, SXM-9, OneWeb Launch 16, Instelsat IS-40e, O3B mPOWER, Ovzon 3, Eutelsat 36D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, and now 11 Starlink missions.

SpaceX to launch 21 Starlink Group 12-7 smallsats including 13 Direct to Cell on Monday

SpaceX is targeting Monday, January 27 for a Falcon 9 launch of 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 3:22 p.m. ET, with backup opportunities available until 6:21 p.m. ET. If needed, additional launch opportunities are also available Tuesday, January 28 starting at 2:50 p.m. ET.

This is the 20th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-26, SXM-9, OneWeb Launch 16, Instelsat IS-40e, O3B mPOWER, Ovzon 3, Eutelsat 36D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, and 10 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
