This deal means that not only can you stream your favorite sci-fi movie franchises (take your pick from the Alien universe, Predator series, Star Wars and more), but you’ll also be able to find some gems of space and science fiction history if you do a simple search for “space.”
I mentioned The Black Hole because I had a massive poster of the film on my wall as a kid, and now have the anniversary DVD edition in my library on top of what I can stream on Disney+. But Man In Space is also a formative series from Disney at a time when astronauts had not yet flown in space.

Consensus: Disney Plus is a mainstay for family-friendly sci-fi content, but Disney has a long history of space documentaries and space films (it IS the home of Tomorrowland, after all). But it’s Disney Plus combined with Hulu is also the home of nearly all of our favorite sci-fi franchises like Star Wars, Predator, Alien, Avatar and Marvel. That makes them two of the best options on the market.
