Hobby rockets have really taken off, literally and figuratively. I’m old enough that I’m practically turning to dust, so I can remember that launching a rocket involved a water-filled pop bottle and a foot pump. But this Estes 2441 Mini Arcas Model Rocket Kit has the basic materials to launch itself up to 550 feet in the air.
Granted, you will need some extras which, as outlined by Estes, are “scissors, glue, a ruler, pencil, hobby knife, sandpaper, sanding block, primer, and specific paint colors.” But chances are you’ve got some of those lying around the house anyway.
